Set against a magnificent backdrop of the towering mountains and the magnificent scenery of Snowdonia, Electric Mountain is First Hydro Company's Visitor centre in Llanberis. Its split level layout contains a gift shop and cafe and is the starting point for the tour of Dinorwig Power Station.

Craft Fayres

Organised by Nigel Rose, Electric Mountain will be home to stalls selling a wide range of local and regional fine food, gifts, decorations, cards, cakes and jewellery from Saturday 16th August to Thursday 21st August 2014.  Come along and have some fun and enjoy a great day out with the family.

The North Wales Art and Craft Fayre will be here on Sunday 24th August 2014

The ever popular Himalayan Craft Fayre will return to Electric Mountain on 25th August until 12th September 2014.  Offering an extensive range of fairly traded and diverse handicrafts including jewellery, clothing, knitwear, rugs and musical instruments.

Opening Times

The Centre is open 7 days a week from 09:30am - 5:30pm with tours operating daily.

As availability is limited, pre-booking is essential.  Visit our Online Booking page to check availability and book your places. 



Electric Mountain is open from 09:30 to 17:30.  Tours are operating daily from 10:00 to 16:00. 

As tours have limited availability, please use our online booking system or contact us directly to reserve your places before you travel to avoid disappointment.

If you are visiting us, please remember you need to arrive 15-minutes prior to your scheduled tour time.  Please also note you need sensible footwear, particularly NO FLIP FLOPS, SANDALS OR HEELS, no matter what the weather.
